These resin-replicas were used to make 300 individual (fibre-base) photograms in the darkroom.

Each photogram was exposed with a performative gesture of shaking arms, so as to mimic flight, and to re-make the fixed 'wall-duck-trio' into a unique and unfixed flock form.

The ducks have been installed in three sites: an empty office space in East Brisbane, the Queensland Centre for Photography and The Institute of Modern Art.
